A well-supported academic acute care hospital in Pennsylvania is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gynecologic Oncology Physician for ongoing locum coverage beginning in mid-July.

This is an excellent opportunity for a provider looking for flexible scheduling, strong APP support, and a balanced mix of clinic, OR, and call responsibilities in a collaborative academic environment.


Assignment Details


• Specialty: Gynecologic Oncology

• Start Date: Mid-July

• Contract Length: July – January

• Coverage Needed: Approximately 1 week per month

• Special Coverage Dates: Extended 3-week need from Sept 19 – Oct 9

• Schedule Flexibility: Friday evening – Friday morning 7-day blocks preferred, but highly flexible


Job Responsibilities: Practice Setting:

Acute Care Academic Hospital

Medical Group Practice

Ambulatory Surgery Center

Residents assigned to service on rotation

Collaborative multidisciplinary oncology environment

Support & Patient Volume:

1 Gynecologic Oncology Surgeon

3 Advanced Practice Providers

2 Medical Assistants

Adult patient population (18+)

Office volume: Approximately 15–20 patients per day

OR volume as needed

Qualifications: Requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gynecologic Oncology

Active Pennsylvania License OR IMLC Letter of Qualification required at submission

DEA required
Working Hours: Schedule & Shift Information

Weekday Schedule

Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch)

OR Hours: Typically 7:00/8:00 AM – 4:00/5:00 PM

Call: After-hours only Monday–Friday

APPs take first call

Weekend Coverage

24-hour call coverage on weekends
